Our Worldmark Timeshare Story...

Nine years ago I attended a Worldmark timeshare presentation at the Running Y Ranch in Klamath Falls, Oregon. I loved the resort and wanted to buy into the program, but just wan't sure if I could afford it. Instead of rushing to a decision, I decided to wait and explore other options.

Shortly thereafter, I was introduced to a timeshare reseller who offered to sell me the same amount of credits I was looking for at less than half the price I was quoted at the timeshare presentation. It sounded too good to be true so I checked with the Worldmark Owner Services department and was told that yes one could buy credits from a reseller or other owners.

Relieved that I was now buying a great membership and saving thousands of dollars at the same time, I purchased the credits and became a Worldmark owner. I have never regretted that decision and believe that Worldmark represents the best value of any timeshare program. Not only have we enjoyed our own family vacations, but we have also been able to share our membership with friends and loved ones.

In the winter and fall seasons many of our resorts offer incredible opportunities to take advantage of "bonus time" and "inventory specials." These programs allow owners to save credits by paying just 5.4 cents per credit when there is availability. This means, for example, that a weekday two bedroom unit at the Running Y Ranch can be booked during the low season (blue season) for around $40 per night. We think that staying at five star resorts for that kind of cost is an amazing deal! We like it so much that last year we booked over 50 nights at wonderful Worldmark resorts on bonus time and inventory specials for our friends.

Recently we gifted a three night stay to a young couple to celebrate their anniversary at Birch Bay. When they returned they raved about the resort and most of all about how nice it was for them to escape and be alone together away from their four children. They were so thankful and kept saying how nice we were to have given them such a wonderful gift. In their minds they thought we spent hundreds of dollars for such a nice resort. We didn't have the heart to tell them that we paid less than $90 on an inventory special.

I guess what we're saying is that we love Worldmark and find it thrilling to help people relax, re-discover romance, and just plain have fun.
